I can’t get a good photo of these things for the life of me. But I’m doing something pretty cool, and it involves a lot of little test runs (like this pendant).
This is the first time I’ve made an art where everything works perfectly in the test runs. Even down to the silver of my wire matching the silver of the tape.
And the prep I’ve done on the actual thing is going oddly well too. Things that are salvaged are turning out to be just the right size.
If you’re making art about something and everything goes to plan does that mean that your message is so important that the medium cooperates?
I suppose I’ll find out once I get the video back.
ALSO I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE IT VERY CLEAR THAT I WILL NEVER ATTEMPT TO GET INTO THE FIELD OF JEWELRY DESIGN BECAUSE OF MY EXPERIENCES WITH THESE TESTS.
