Specifically, my chronic pain.
Turns out, that when I’m having a good day, I won’t hurt all that much. Typically it’ll be localized in one part of my body (usually my hips) and I’ll barely notice it.
If I’m having a not so great day, though, like if I’m particularly stressed out or something, it gets worse. A lot worse. like 9 on the pain scale worse.
Long story short, today I learned that while my chronic pain may not be entirely caused by stress, because it never goes away, it’s definitely aggravated by stress.
Also: I know this is turning into a kind of boring recovery journal type thing… I aim to fix that. Eventually. It’s on my to do list. “having an interesting, fun to read blog” is not high up on that list though… I’m trying to use cuts and stuff more. Bear with me.
